Maggi Favor

My name is Maggi Favor and this is my 8th year as an educator. I previously taught 3rd grade for 5 years. This is my 3rd year at Greater San Diego Academy as an Educational Consultant. 

I am from Southern California. I went to school at San Diego State University and have always wanted to work in education. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in math and science education. I also have two cats, Lulu and Georgia, and an awesome husband named Alex. 

What I love most about working with students and their families are the connections and relationships built. I really admire student's curiosity and creativity and enjoy learning from them. GSDA has been a great experience for me as I have been able to support families in taking ownership in their education in a way that feels good to them.
